Casares will be the setting for a new film next year. Pedro Casablanc will direct “Sacrilegio”, a western based on a work by Valle Inclan. The film is a short film that tells the story of conflicts in a band of outlaws who flee from justice in a lonely place in the Serrania de Ronda. It is inspired by the westerns of the 1970’s. The production is an all Malaga affair with the producer and the team entirely from the province. Filming is scheduled for May next year in Casares and the film is currently in the pre-production and financing phase.
